Privacy Notice
Mayavé protects your data and privacy.
1. What this notice covers — This notice explains what personal data Mayavé collects through this website, WhatsApp/SMS, and in-store interactions, why we collect it, and the choices available to you. It applies alongside, not instead of, our Terms & Conditions.
2. Data we collect — Name, contact number, email address, shipping/billing address, order and payment details (processed via our payment partner; we do not store full card numbers), appointment preferences, and, where relevant, ring/wrist size or engraving details you share with us for customisation.
3. How we collect it — Directly from you (when you create an account, place an order, book an appointment, subscribe to updates, or message us on WhatsApp/SMS/email) and automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you browse the site (see point 10).
4. Why we use your data — To process and fulfil orders, manage appointments and customisation requests, provide customer support, send order and delivery updates, share offers or launches you've opted into, prevent fraud, and improve the website experience.
5. Who we share it with — Trusted service providers only: payment gateways, courier/logistics partners, IGI for certification-linked processes, and IT/hosting providers, each bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not sell personal data to third parties for their own marketing.
6. Data security — We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, secure hosting) to protect your data; see our Cyber Security Policy for more detail.
7. Data retention — We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected; typically for the duration of the customer relationship plus statutory record-keeping periods under Indian law (e.g., GST/accounting requirements).
8. Your rights — Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, request correction or erasure, and withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time (withdrawal is as easy as giving consent). If you are shopping from outside India, you may also have applicable rights under GDPR or your local law, including data portability.
9. Grievance Officer — For any privacy query, complaint, or rights request, contact our Grievance Officer: Viraj Shah, COO, Mayavé, E-03, Gem & Jewellery Park, Ichhapore, Surat, Gujarat, India, Email: viraj@mayave.com, Phone: +91 7208054004. We aim to acknowledge grievances promptly and resolve them within a reasonable period, and in any case no later than 90 days.
