So a new silhouette took shape, wings that belong to no bird in particular and to every bird at once, drawn in artisanal tie-cut diamonds that catch light the way feathers catch wind. There is something almost defiant in its shape, a form that refuses to be pinned to a name, ascending not because it has somewhere to be, but because ascension is simply what it was always going to do. This bird exists nowhere in nature, because nowhere in nature was the right answer. It was built instead from instinct, the line of a wing mid-lift, the angle of a body caught in the second before flight becomes certain. Worn close, it doesn't ask to be recognized as any particular creature. It asks only to be felt as the thing it always was: glory, unclaimed and entirely her own.
